The ACT HC4-SPR6 clutch kit combines a Sport pressure plate with a 6-pad rigid race disc for performance-focused clutch operation. The Sport pressure plate uses ACT’s exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and help maximize clutch life. Its diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process, while precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency.

The rigid race disc uses high-quality ceramic friction materials and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub for strength and durability. Its lightweight, rigid construction supports quicker shifting, while the 6-pad configuration delivers aggressive engagement and faster gear changes. Engagement is harsher than with a conventional clutch disc, and increased gear rattle may occur.

Designed for race use only, this kit offers light to moderate pedal effort, high heat tolerance, and performance-oriented response. The rigid design may increase spline wear, and friction life is moderate. ACT carefully engineers, precisely assembles, accurately balances, clamp-load tests, and dynamically computer-balances its clutch components for smooth, high-RPM reliability.
