The ACT HC4-SPR4 clutch kit features a Sport pressure plate paired with a 4-pad rigid race disc for aggressive performance and faster shifting. The Sport pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and help maximize clutch life. Its precision cover stampings are designed to provide rigidity and consistency.

The included 4-pad rigid race disc uses select ceramic friction materials for high heat tolerance and maximum performance. A heat-treated chrome-moly hub provides strength and durability, while the lightweight, rigid design supports quicker shifts and smooth service. Engagement is harsher than a conventional clutch disc, with increased gear rattle, but the design is well-suited for race applications and smaller disc sizes in smaller engines.

ACT heat-treats every diaphragm through a four-stage process and carefully engineers, precisely assembles, accurately balances, and 100% clamp-load-tests its clutch components. The kit is recommended for race use only and is backed by ACT's one-year warranty. This kit fits select 1990-1991 Honda Civic and Honda CRX applications.
