Great Clutch Kit
Curtis B. | February 17th, 2016
I installed this clutch kit when I did the 6 speed transmission swap in my EP3. It's a great clutch kit, especially with the 11 pound flywheel. Pedal was stiff at first, but after the break in period it has softened up quite a bit. It grabs well enough for me to snap an axle in half in a month. Drives very similar to stock with only needing slightly more throttle with the flywheel. Definitely recommend it for stock power levels as a nice upgrade.
Good combo! very pleased with the products.

Clutch grabs decently hard when first installed. After about 1k mile break-in period, it grabs a little harder than stock. Nice feel to it paired with the Ultra Light Weight flywheel and Rev's quicker as well. Only complaints: My flywheel makes a metal on metal grinding noise when between 1-3500 rpm's, not a problem what-so-ever. I believe it's the clutch springs vibrating and resonating through the holes of the clutch disc. Because of the lightness of the flywheel, idling in first gear is not possible anymore in traffic. Other than that, great combo!
Wish I had gone Ultralight

After reading several reviews that mentioned killing the car when they got the lightweight flywheel I was a little concerned. Maybe they just didn't know how to drive. I have had no problems with driveability, although my wife did kill it twice when I took her on a familiarization drive. This thing just hooks up and goes, just give it a bit more gas than with the stock clutch. If you shift carefully, modulating the gas and clutch pedal, you can do it very smoothly even with pretty good acceleration. If you want to really nail it you're up to the rev limiter before you know it. I haven't noticed any stiffness compared to stock. I like it, just hope it doesn't cost me too much in tires. I gave it a 4 because I don't know what a 5 would be unless it was magic.
Worthy product

An upgrade to the stock clutch which is inexpensive and not overly-agressive, but able to handle modest upgrades. It also feels "heavy duty" compared to the stock clutch. Would definately purchase again, although I doubt if i will ever need to.
