Nightmare install process
Kane | January 11th, 2024
Oh. My. Lord. I was so unprepared for this install. I've done several sway bars before. But this is a LOT. To start the instructions are incredibly vague. And many steps are "do this"or "drill that hole", but then when you go to do it. It's incredible weird and awkward and not at all how the pictures are showing. After that is the questionable fit. Even with the extra spacers (which it says are optional to install on SIs) it comes horrifyingly close to the lower control arm mounts. The instructions also tell you to install the spacers off set to the bottom of the OE mounts. This is impossible as the holes do not even come to lining up(as said and shown in the instructions), and the extra supplied screw for this is nowhere near the right size. The holes in the spacers are also too small to fit the OE hardware that the directions tell you to use. The wholes are also oblong so you can adjust up and down, so you can not easily drill them large. I had hand file the holes larger. It also has you instal extra support brackets where the end links connect to the lower control arms. This requires drilling an additional hole. It is absolutely impossible to get a drill into the required position/angle. You're a good 30 degrees off from what you want. The metal here is also already double laird and very hard. Or at least I broke a DeWalt drill bit (nothing amazing , but it's not harbor freight ya know), and bent another. The hole is also going directly through a factory weld, adding to the impossibleity of drillimg the hole properly. Also, because you have to drill at a janky angle, you have to file the hole larger so the bolt can pass through straight. You now are also leaving bare metal exposed. All to add a reinforcement plate that's so soft you can crush the metal even when using the supplied washers. I can't speak for certain, but I feel like this step in particular is a total waist. Possibly compromising the OE part, so that you can under-reenforce it? Personal I wish I didn't drill those holes and took my chances with the OE mounts. It's my daily tho, and I'm not planning on tracking the car aggressively. The instructions for this above part are also verbatim "mark hole location and use a 11/32 drill bit to drill a hole" that's it. The quality of the actual sway bar itself and the end links seem very high, and I'm praying it functions well enough to justify this install. Those are the only two reasons for the 2 stars over 1. But the fit and extra hardware are the quality you would expect from no name eBay parts from 10 years ago. Maybe I'm just inept. But a long with this install, I also did coilovers, front ball joints, rear camber arms, and brake rotors/pads/steel lines/fluid. And without being hyperbolic or sarcastic in any way. The sway bar was half of the time it took to install everything. This is also obviously just about the product. K series parts have been great themselves. This was done on a (formerly) bone stock 2014 Civic Si. Good luck.
Looks good, but cheap quality
Mariano Torres | July 18th, 2021
I wanted to love this kit. It makes everything look clean with a low profile. Unfortunately, the hardware is cheap. The paint on the golden discs where you install rubber grommets was chipping away; one of the silver hex bolts broke; there wasn't a strong enough seal with a new gasket, which is what led me to remove the hardware to inspect. When I tried reinstalling, it still leaked and then the #1 screw snapped clean off from the thread. If you "compare" hardware with OEM, you question the integrity of aftermarket hardware like this and see the it isn't designed to apply and maintain the torque needed to hold down the seal. Also, the golden bolts that replace the OEM bolts feel and look very cheap compared to Honda. I was worried they wouldn't hold the torque needed to keep the camshafts in place under high heat and pressure. I can't recommend these despite how good they may look. Unless you're never gonna track your car and just show it, then maybe.
Act throw out bearing
Mjb | June 13th, 2021
K Series Parts definitely gets five stars for all the help getting parts to me. ACT on the other hand, needs to update on their throw-out bearings. The plastic sleeve/collar that rides on the input shaft is somewhat of a joke, as well as the metal ears that hold the clutch release fork consistently break with heavy duty pressure plates. Very impressed wiith ACT clutch kits, throw out bearing is crap tho
Too much Drone. Definitely not quiet or close to stock
Christian | January 4th, 2021
Giving this 2 stars because although the workmanship on the welds are nice and the included hardware and gaskets are good; there were fitment issues and was not quiet as advertised. The midpipe does not fit well and hits the floor of the chassis. My mechanic had to pinch the part of the pipe that hit the floor. Really shouldn't expect that on a $600 catback. Once we got everything installed the noise was unbearable. I previously had a Raceheader with the ExMag RSR exhaust and was loud enough to sound great but didn't have drone. The Q300 was louder with a shorty header and a test pipe. Idle was quiet like stock but anything above 60MPH even when cruising was drone. The sound resonated in the cabin which got annoying quick. That may be fine if that's what you want but Invidia and the forums advertise this as if it's close to stock, which is far from the case. Besides complaining about the noise, the sound is not ricey. Its a very deep growl tone and sounds like a banshee when in Vtec. I ended up selling just the muffler and reinstalled the stock muffler. Screams when in vtec but quiet as a mouse when you just want to cruise.
Upper camber kit

I got these hangers for my 2012 civic si, I have a skunk2 megapower exhaust system that was rattling pretty bad, I got these hangers to try and eliminate the rattle. Unfortunately they didn
Minor diety
Patrick | March 29th, 2020
Bushings helped. Installation was impossible as shipped. The rubber O rings made the fit for the larger bushing impossible. Removing them allowed the bushing to fit and had a little wiggle room, but is improved over previous rubber bushings. Will upgrade further in the future.
lines
Joe | February 29th, 2020
The brakes are great but I had a lot of issues upon installing them and my first drive. The line kit says it comes with all necessary hardware but there was no seal (o-ring, crush washer, etc.) with the elbows for the part that goes into the caliper (and it
Meh
Jay | February 13th, 2020
Bought this kit and had a few problems all caused by a downpipe. First off the down pipe sent to me was a passenger side downpipe so it mounts on the passenger side of the turbo this in turn through off the way the turbo was supposed to be mounted and the outlet points in a wierd position since the outlet on the turbo to the intercooler is pointing oddly in an semi up position and more to the driver side this throws off the way the intercooler piping connect so you have to start cutting down pipe to make it fit. The studs that connect the manifold to the turbo will strip so fast u wont know whats coming so you better have them on right the first time or you can kiss those threads goodbye Overall it took more work doing this crap then it would of been to piece it together myself which I regret not doing but hey it's up and running now after all the damn Fab work needed.
just me

Same issues with the front, exposed stainless braiding, other brand invest in better lines with an outer line not exsposing the braiding,
just me
Richard | December 22nd, 2019
Lines fit very well, but complete stainless braiding was bare and uncovered, other brands have an outer layer....in hindsight I should have gone with another brand
I rate them at a 2
Brandon | November 12th, 2019
Dont waste your money. Had coilovers on for 3 months and already blew out 2 coilovers. Took em off and put air ride on. I rate them at a 2

I thought this product was bolt on and go !but not ,the fit of the main bracket that the bolts sits on is blocked by a stock air fin on my JDM B series block. Therefore I had to grind about 2inches off to sit it in it's intended position ,The KTune M F'ers don't inform you of that extra work!
Cheap
Andrew Voege | January 31st, 2019
I would not recommend these to anyone. i always thought nrg was a decent brand but these are super poorly made. they are flimsy. i'm scared if i were to get in an accident.
Degrading
Sterling Elliott | August 20th, 2018
They start to rust a decent amount after having it for about 2years and the key just broke :/
Bad fitment
Ozzy | August 13th, 2017
It doesn't fit in my oem rsx type s, it make me clean my iacv and at the end I bought a new iacv thinking that was the problem, the start stalling, running rich, backfiring and shutting down, I did the idle relearn and nothing, I got so frustrated until I stop and went back to the beginning start look at the gasket and find out it was different than the oem, this gasket blocked the little slot in the bottom of the throttle and also one of the sensors in the top, I take it out and cut the same shape as the image I downloaded from autozone, and there you go, fixed. I hope this helps.
Nah!
Joseph Scimemi | August 5th, 2017
If this product is the same as pictured, do not buy for the sake of reliability. The triangle piece tends to bust on heavy clutches. As a daily driver its okay for money saved.
Exhaust leak
Deandre Murray | May 11th, 2017
The Shipping was VERY fast, sadly this header is poorly built as it leaks where it connects to the head pretty bad, I would Recommend saving your money and getting the skunk 2 Alpha header.
Hit or miss
Jordan Stripling | March 4th, 2017
Received my header really quick, amazing shipping. But first I recommend buying a new gasket because the one that came with the header was bent, second. After instal, there is a exhaust leak present where the header connects to the head. Replaced the gasket and still a leak is present. I will not be buying another header from manzo header because the mounting to the head might not be even or perfectly flat. I regret not buying the ktuned header.
Compromise is a must!!
Anthony Ramirez | December 4th, 2016
This is a high quality piece as expected from a reputable company like Flowmaster. I paired a 3" dBX with a 3" vibrant flat black all with K-teller piping. The result was as I expected: a nice fairly quiet idle (slightly louder than stock, actually) and a nice grumble up the powerband, Overall a very quiet exhaust with little drone over 3.5k RPM. The downside is how little this flows. I purchased this with the intent of keeping my car relatively quiet, aiming for a "sleeper." I hit the goal of maintaining a low profile but there is far more back pressure than I anticipated. I thought the opening inside the muffler would be larger and less restrictive under throttle but I was wrong. I lost quit a bit of power throughout.... I have an NA K24A2 with bolt-ons and it didn't respond well to this muffler. Definitely do NOT purchase if you're considering forced induction in the future. I'd probably remove this off the product list...... It gets 2 stars purely for quality of construction.
Weathertech visors
Jacob Dreiling | October 17th, 2016
Look good super sleek but are soo annoying because of fitment. Weathertech is quality shit, not only their products, but their engineering also and they did as a matter of a fact let me down on this one. And they dont make mats for dc5s...
Pay for what you get
Justin Daniel | September 24th, 2016
Got these just to test since they were cheap. They do not line up on rsx no matter how you put them. The stickers of carbon fiber were placed pretty horribly. Did not drill holes in bumper for these.
No better than chain parts store junk
P L | June 28th, 2016
I bought these hoping to get rid of the driveline slack and vibration in my RSX-S. They haven't performed any better than the O'Reilly or Advance AP ones. Too bad they costed double the price of those shafts. I should have just tried NAPA ones instead or put the money toward OEM's.
Black works shift boot
kiet tran | May 23rd, 2015
Didn't like how I had to cut it myself to make it fit. If you mess up once then the boot would be worthless.
Disappointed
Adajio | April 14th, 2014
First of all, K series shipping is so fast, I don't know how they do it!! Now, on to the pads. I followed the instructions on the box exactly. I resurfaced my rotors and followed the recommended bed -in procedure. The pads never grabbed as hard as the ones I took off which were the autozone gold ceramic. Braking when the pads were cold was extremely poor and I was alomost hesitant to drive behind someone at a close distance. Once heated up it was a little better but still mediocre at best. Pair all that with the terrible brake dust and you get a 2 star rating. Will never buy these again. I bought another set of Autozone gold ceramic and i'm quite happy. I have the Hawks sitting in a box somewhere. A waste of $86
HORRIBLE PRODUCT
Dustin Anastas | June 9th, 2013
As far as the performance they are great but the light weight metal they used bends real easily especially because you have to force it over the stock strut because it doesn't fit over OEM struts with ease. It has taken me 9 hours to put these on that is freaking ridiculous. and even if i get them on if i end up having to replace a strut i have to buy a new set because the sleeves are NOT coming off its a horrible kit to buy i would spend the extra 100 bucks and buy raceland coilovers very disappointed with skunk2 for not taking the time to try this one one of there own cars first. I only gave it 2 stars because they work great and nice ride, other wise they would have just got 1 star.
ehhh
Kristin | September 3rd, 2012
Purchased this sway bar because it had good online reviews and also came with a tie bar. I cannot tell you how terrible the endlinks and sway bar bushinngs are. sway bar bushing cracked after 3 months (replaced with energy suspension which are greasable and have beefier brackets). links rattle like its theyre job under all driving conditions after 6 months. on the up side, the bar does its job well, no more 3 wheeling around hard turns.

I have had this set on the car for years now. They have only gotten noisier and sloppier with age. From the day I installed them, the lock rings on 2 of the 4 coilovers never actually locked anything in place. They did drop the car and they did stiffen the ride/eliminate roll. Would I recommend them to someone else when there are lots of options out there? No.
