We've seen too many 2006-2011 8th gen Civics sitting on the side of the road with smashed and cracked oil pans and a puddle of oil surrounding the front end. Its a sad sight and even worse to deal with.
- We know you want to put your Civic on the floor, it just looks better we get it.
- The Crash Bar is meant to be insurance to help save your oil pan.
- It sits approximate 3/4" lower than the oil pan and will now be the primary piece taking the abuse from daily driving.
- The idea here is that any obstructions you may face in the road will first hit the crash bar and saving the oil pan.

I drive a 2008 civic si - lowered on Buddy club n+coilovers and i love this bar! It sits high so i can ride around pretty low and the bar has saved the pan a few times- overall it wont hit or bottom out too much though-3-4 times since owning it
