This Gates radiator hose is used for increased clearance with cold air intakes and RBC/RRC intake manifolds on the 02-06 Acura RSX (DC5), 02-05 Civic Si (EP3), and 01-05 Civic (EM2) with k-series swap.
Advanced Fiber Construction. Exceptional durability and resistance to pressure extremes.
Premium EPDM Rubber Compound. Protects against the high temperatures of full throttle driving. Prolongs the effectiveness of coolant because it's 10 to 15 times more resistant to water permeation than silicone hose.
Electro-chemically Resistant ECR Tube Stock. Combats the leading cause of premature hose failure - electrochemical degradation (ECD).

The hose works exactly how it should. Gives plenty of room for my intake and probably helps keep IATs down drastically.

I bought this gate hose because the stock hose would lay on the rubber elbow of my injen cai and melt it. With gates hose installed i have no more issues like that. Easy to install and only 16 bucks.
