i had this for many weeks and i always put it on when its raining, i drive without a fender liner so putting it on take 30 seconds, it is worth keeping your car safe from hydro locking and its worth it.

Works well in repelling water and also protects the filter from dirt. Worth every dollar. KSeries service was also great

I am stationed overseas in Europe with my DC5 where if it's not raining, it's snowing, clear weather is like bigfoot (take a picture if you see it), this hydroshield is a true lifesaver!

This is absolutely necessary, not simply a frivolous item to add to your list of parts installed. I've had this installed for a little over 18 months and in that time I've had very little experiences with being bogged down by abundant moisture and water getting into the engine. My DC5 is daily driven, lowered and I put about 25k miles/year on it; plenty of rain storms and puddle traversing. We just had a giant storm that downpoured (read as: OMG the sky is falling) while I was returning home on a long trip; max speed for most traffic on the interstate was 45mph due to the standing water. I never felt any problems while driving, but I could tell that it was a lot of water when I went to crank the engine after the trip, there was a small blip on the open loop cycle due to the amount of water it had endured. (Cold starts have since returned to normal now.) I'm certain at this point I would've had a lot more problems had that shield not been on there through all of that!

Put my hand in the hydroshield and run the faucet over, hand doesnt get wet. Its magic. Def does what it says it does

i live in washington and it rains everyday so when i got my cai it was a must to get something that protects the filter. i drive in the pouring down everyday and have had no problem what so ever, but i still avoid puddles just in case.

A must have if you're gonna run a CAI. It's easy to install and gives you a little peace of mind. Completely with the money compared to a potential blown motor.

Does exactly what it was supposed to do. Bought the black one because crsx was out of red. doesnt matter because no one will see it anyways. now ive got peace of mind when it down pours here in florida.

When I purchased my CAI, I had to get this hydroshield. It was the first thing I put on. Since putting it on about a month ago, I have not had a problem with the rainy weather in NY. This is a must have!

Getting the Hydroshield was the first thing I did before installing my cold air intake. I've been through some rain storms and so far haven't had a problem.

Basicly as the title states....you need this with any CAI. The intake is right down by the road and will be constantly nailed with water if its ever wet out. Save yourself future maintenance and spend the extra money for a hydroshield.

Well, it's cheap... i bought the injen cai and i figured i should stay on the safe side so i bought it, and needless to say it has saved me from all my worries. I live in Kansas and we get some pretty random rain, and i really dont worry about anything. Good product :)

This product does as described, if you have a CAI; this hydroshield is a must. I live up north where it rains and snows, it has been almost six months and I haven't had any issues. No hp lost or anything, you have nothing to loose and a lot to gain.

Its so far worked for me with no bad thoughts of water entering my engine.This is a no brainer to have if your driving through showers or rain in the winter. Ill be removing it in the summer when the wetness stops.Must have for CAI! MANDOTORY.

The Hydroshield is great. It repels water like a champ and gives you peace of mind. I ran it under the sink before I installed it and the water just sheets off! Trust Injen and get this product!

this product actually works, i used it on my injen cai, and now its on my v2, its amazing stops all dust as well as water!

since i live in florida and it rains so much i had some pretty close calls with the water this thing is great and works

This thing really works!! I live in a place where it snows alot and i dont have splash guards so I couldnt run my cold air. Well this solved the problem. I really keeps the water out, i've had it for about 1 month now driving in the snow and rain and no problems.
