Got to buy this if your getting a cold air intake. I didn't want to take the risk.

I bought the hydroshield with my intake and have driven in the rain a bunch of times no problems here. It also go tot my door in like 2 days. Best shipping ever

When I got my hydro shield the first thing I did was drop some water on it. The shield repelled or absorbed most of the water, would buy again.

I had been meaning to get this for ages. I finally did and now I worry less when driving in the rain. I think it's a great investment for any CAI. Well worth the money.

Well what can I say, it does it's job and gives you that extra bit of security and comfort if you get stuck out in the rain. If you have a CAI, you should definitely have one of these. Not only from rain, but it also keeps alot of other road dirt off your filter! Club RSX again, never fails with their great service and fast shipping!

After 1/2 year with the daily driver out in good weather and rain, the filter looks good as new. I took it off on the weekend and saw that the hydroshield had a bit of dirt on it but the filter underneath looked clean as the day it was installed. Rinsed the cover and put it on again for the winter.

I live in Ks and the weather here gets crazy. Everything from 80 degree winters to snow in the summer. If you live in an area where weather just goes crazy, this hydroshield is for you. It stands up to heavy rain, light-medium puddles, but you still can't run through a flood lol.

Good product. Repels water but if you submerge your filter this is not waterproof so still look out for puddles. Extra piece of mind for $30? Of course you should!

Pruchased it, installed it, pretty good, i do feel safer driving around in the rain but i still avoid puddles at all cost, planning to buy by-pass soon but overall this is a great product.

Clubrsx is on top of it. Shipping was a breeze, it came in way faster than what I expected and this product is pretty cool. Fits right around the air filter element, and just to test it's use I ran it under a faucet in the house and it repels water like a brickwall. If anybody's running a CAI I'd definitely suggest this to them in fear of possible hydrolock or air filter waterlog, either or.
