smaller/thinner disc material=lower inertia, therefore quicker, easier shifting.

smaller/thinner disc material=lower inertia, therefore quicker, easier shifting. That's what is advertised on Exedy's web site. So, expect shorter life out of it, and expect to do clutch jobs more often. I'm going on my 3rd disc now, same PP & flywheel. About $150 for another disc. What I love is how easy/fast it is to shift, pedal feel is near stock, yet it holds twice the holding torque of OEM, like a stage 3 or 4 would. It's hard to find a clutch that feels near stock, shifts faster, holds much more, and isn't a dual clutch setup. For the money, it's a good balance. Learn to do your own clutch job, and it's worth it. My favorite single plate clutch hands down.

To start my built k24 is puting down 263Whp and 205Wtq. I am using this single plate hyper clutch. I have about 1500 miles on it and made 3 passes at the track tonight, by by 4th gear the clutch was slipping bad, and the clutch pressure is garbage now. it used feel like a stg3 clutch now it feels like a stage1 cable.....I am very disapointed in this clutch since it couldnt even hold up for 2000 miles let alone the life of the motor. For the first 1,000 miles it had good pedal feel and held strong, i drove it from st.paul, MN to Killeen,TX. What happened EXEDY? I highly recomend NO-ONE buys this clutch.
