Product Details
Part Number: | KTD-CAB-SPH |
Brand: | K-Tuned |
We have taken the idea from our Race-Spec Shifter Cables and made a new cable bushing that incorporates a spherical bearing to allow greater movement while retaining the same stiff feel.
- The bushing is now two piece with a delrin spherical bearing. This design allows for greater movement while retaining that positive feedback.
- Cable bushings have a small sleeve which is uses on certain applications inside the larger bushing to accomdate more applications.
- K-Tuned Shifter Cable Bushings are a simple and easy to install upgrade that improves shift feel and accuracy.
- These bushings are installed on both transmission side connections of the cables and are made with solid 6061 billet aluminum and feature a spherical bearing on the larger front-back cable.
- The unique dual O-ring design of these billet bushings allows for very slight flexibility at the joint which is critical for precise shifting.
- Both bushings are clear anodized to protect them from corrosion and we include all hardware needed for installation.
- With this kit, you'll get 2 reusable hairpin style cotter pins for both cable end connections, and 2 bushing retaining clips.

Very impressed how these bushing feel after install and looks great also! Would be great if they came in other colors but definitely not shedding any tears over it.. Took about 15 minutes to install and could tell the difference before the test drive. Even without the upgrade shifter or cables. Which will be coming soon! These are a Great inexpensive upgrade to add to your build. Even if its jus your daily driver. Definitely recommend.. Customer sevice was very helpful! Steve was a big help when I needed question anwsered! Really appreciate you and the K-series staff for all the help! Definitely will be doin business with you guys again! Thanks

Perfect fit and great quality. Still need a couple other parts to restore the shift quality but these are a must to replace worn rubber bushings.

Bought these as I figured the stock bushings have seen better days. There are no instructions included. Installing straight forward:
Don't remove the o rings.
Pry the old bushing out. Screwdriver, vice grips
Lube the o rings and insert the bushings. I used bearing grease.
I guess you could add the c-clips to lock the bushing. I didn't.
But the o rings are absolutely needed don't remove them.
