STREET ADVANCE Z takes the ride height adjustability of the STREET BASIS Z line and adds 16-way damping adjustment. So, not only do you get a matched spring and damper setting, you now have the ability to tune the dampers to meet your driving conditions. Roads seem a bit rough? Soften up the damping. Glass smooth highways? Crank the damping to a stiffer setting. You get all that and everything in between. STREET ADVANCE Z is also compatible with our EDFC systems (some STREET ADVANCE Z coilover kits may require extension kits for compatibility), giving you a completely adaptable suspension kit based on your driving conditions/characteristics! Thats a feature that not even all sports luxury cars have, and our setup is at a much more affordable price

Perfect for DD and Light Auto-X - Beware Hardware Reuse
Daniel Siebert | July 3rd, 2019
I upgraded to these from just Skunk 2 Lowering Spring and I wish I had done this from the start. The spring rates are a bit high looking at first but the dampers are paired nicely with them to really make the car feel balanced. Where I live constantly has roads under construction and speed bumps and I no longer need to crawl over them. I did the spring height settings suggested by Tein. I have about 1.5-2" of clearance on the back (perfect IMO) and about 1" of clearance on the front. It's got that dropped look without having the issues of being slammed. As for the hardware, you're going to be reusing a lot of things from your original stuff or you will have to buy it new ($$). I ended up buying new OEM bumpstops for the front struts, MOOG Tophats, OEM dustboots that you cut (note that these springs are the same direction so you need two of the same one and not one of each). All and all if you go with quality parts (which you should) you're going to spend about an extra $100. IMO these things are perfect if this car is your daily. Things like the entry level BC and other options come with way too many adjustments that honestly 90% of people who buy them will touch once and never again (and probably over set them and make 40k mile tires last 10k). More $$$ isn't always better. At that point you can ask yourself if the Flex Z's are more worthwhile, you'll get true ride height adjustment (opposed to just adjusting the spring length) as well as adjustable top-hats for dialing in your front suspension. Since I didn't want to pay for an alignment every few months I decided getting something with less adjust ability was right for me.
