    179-A camshafts are designed as a stage one upgrade for the popular Honda K20a/K20Z & K24A2 engines.

    These camshafts offer moderate performance increase and are an easy fit because they only require the stock valve spring to be used.

    Designed specifically for the street enthusiast, the Kelford 179-A series cams provide a significant improvement in horsepower and torque when compared to stock TSX (K24A2) cams, and are designed to use the OEM valvetrain without any upgrades. The primary and intermediate lobes are fractionally larger than the TSX and the main lobe features more area for increased mid-range and top-end performance. Gains of 30+ WHP have been achieved with good quality bolt on parts.

    The 179-A lobe geometry requires less valve spring pressure to control the intake and exhaust valves than the stock cams. This means you can rev the 179-A higher than the stock TSX cams without inducing performance-robbing valve float and the more forgiving geometry promotes valve train longevity so you can enjoy the added performance for many miles down the road.

    Amazing Cams

    These are the perfect choice for someone with N/A bolt-ons and KPRO who wants to take it to the next step. makes great power on stock valvetrain!

    More than 30WHP Very Very Pleased

    I did all the other bolt-ons first. CAI, IM, Header, Exhaust. That got me to 214WHP but I was still restricted by the cams. I threw these stage1 179-A Kelford cams in and went back to the same dyno and tuner and got 246WHP. I expected at least 10WHP, was hoping for 20, and got more than I thought possible. Excellent, quiet, very drivable. Can't say enough. These are awesome!
