Acura RSX JDM Shift Boot and Shift Knob Installation

Tools Required

• Flat head screwdriver
• Pliers
• Stapler

Step One

Remove the staples using a flat head screwdriver and pliers on both the JDM and stock center consoles.

Step Two

Install the JDM shift boot and reuse the staples that you removed the first time. If you have trouble reusing the staples you can use a regular stapler and use the pliers to bend down the sharp points. Install the shift boot adapter using a zip tie or a rubber band.

Step Three

Reinstall the center console and screw on the shift nut. Then screw down the JDM shift knob and adjust the nut so that it is straight and to your liking.
