This part, along with one of NRG's Quick Release units, has allowed me to finish the interior of my 02 RSX Type S.
I've had the car since new in August of 01 and after 103000 miles it's still fun to drive. Now it's perfect.
I've had a Dino wood rimmed steering wheel on a shelf in my garage for twenty-five years. This part has let me put it back in service.
I made a few changes to this part to make it a better match, glass beading the paint off so it matches the spokes of the steering wheel and milling a small grove for the harness of the cruise control switches. I made a bracket form aluminum billet that bolts to the assembly to mount the switches and glass beaded it as well for a perfect match.
The cruise control switch assembly required minor modification to fit properly so I found one on Ebay for twenty-four dollars keeping the original intact with the stock steering wheel.
