Excellent Addition [21 Months Riding]
By 242 on 2/13/2011
I never bothered to write a review when I first bolted these coils on the RSX. However, I felt that I should add something since there are no reviews for these and I think so highly of them. I swapped out a set of aftermarket springs and OEM dampers for these coils almost two years ago. We adjusted them all the way down if I remember correctly, which on my OEM wheel creates a nice perfect flush look. The wheel well and tire are right on edge with no tucking which I find sloppy looking. The install was simple and we ran into no problems afterwards either. The ride quality and performance attributes are noticeably altered. The ride is changed in such a way that it feels tighter and solid, yet not uncomfortable. This is not soft, it’s aggressive and responsive and gives the RSX a new feel, yet you can ride it daily without issue. You will feel bumps and everything that is normally absorbed totally by OEM dampers, but I feel that I can push her harder now around corners which is definitely an acceptable trade off. These coils have now seen two winters which means enough road salt to build a mountain. I spray them off when the weather warms and examine them when I take the wheels off and they have zero signs of rust, in fact, they look brand new. Do a little searching on the interwebz and you will see that KW is quite the respected brand. These coils are by far my favorite addition to the RSX.
