The KONI Sport dampers are designed for aggressive driving or cars with suspension upgrades while continuing to offer comfort. If a KONI Sport is listed as an alternative to the KONI Special, choose Sport for aggressive handling characteristics. The KONI Sport (yellow) typically starts at a higher initial valving baseline to give a sportier feel and work on vehicles with higher performance parts.
In some instances, KONI will only offer a Special or Sport valving and not both. Some modern cars come from the factory with higher tech suspension systems and wheel/tire packages so they would move directly into the Sport range, however they are still valved to give a comfortable ride with very good handling capabilities.

Loving the ride quality.
By Steve on 7/16/2012
Paired this with the Eibach prokit. I have them adjusted about 3/4s to full firm. Ride quality is great. My car is a dd and it's very comfortable. It's perfect for how I want it. Props to kseriesparts for exceptional service and fast shipping. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.......well I already have. Lol. Thanks for everything guys.

Great shocks, bad installation
By dbsidbduejheudifbeuwi on 5/6/2012
So I really like the way these feel, I had stock suspension on eibach sportlines and as soon as I installed them I blew ny stock shocks. The ride was terrible and made a whole lot of unwanted noises. As soon as I installed these, all the noises were gone and the ride felt great! The only downside is like everyone else says, the instructions are poorly written and the modification to your stock assembly is kinda nerve racking because if you mess up, you will ruin your stock set up and the konis won't fit. But don't let that stop you from getting these, they are great shocks. Koni would make a lot more cash if they sold these specifically for the rsx. I believe many ppl turn away from these due to the hard install.

Koni yellows not great of uneven surfaces
By Oral on 12/29/2011
I gone through the entire range of adjustments trying to find a setting for rough roads and I'm not successful. Its quite a rough ride on bumpy roads, compression damping pretty harsh and makes braking difficult.

The correct shocks for your lowering springs
By Tu Pham on 10/25/2011
these shocks are design for all of the lowering springs. I love them even we have to the mod for the front shocks on rsx. I would suggest these shocks for people who only have the lowering spring and don't have the koni yet. Great handling and comfort. Prebound is adjustable. By the way, the shipping package is missing the 2 plastic nuts that prevent from bottom out for the front shocks were missing. Other than that, i have nothing to downgrade for these shocks.

Great struts, difficult install
By Mike on 10/3/2011
Overall happy with struts, but install is very difficult. Many shops are even reluctant to do it.
