Giving this 2 stars because although the workmanship on the welds are nice and the included hardware and gaskets are good; there were fitment issues and was not quiet as advertised.
The midpipe does not fit well and hits the floor of the chassis. My mechanic had to pinch the part of the pipe that hit the floor. Really shouldn't expect that on a $600 catback.
Once we got everything installed the noise was unbearable. I previously had a Raceheader with the ExMag RSR exhaust and was loud enough to sound great but didn't have drone. The Q300 was louder with a shorty header and a test pipe. Idle was quiet like stock but anything above 60MPH even when cruising was drone. The sound resonated in the cabin which got annoying quick. That may be fine if that's what you want but Invidia and the forums advertise this as if it's close to stock, which is far from the case.
Besides complaining about the noise, the sound is not ricey. Its a very deep growl tone and sounds like a banshee when in Vtec.
I ended up selling just the muffler and reinstalled the stock muffler. Screams when in vtec but quiet as a mouse when you just want to cruise.
