There are TWO reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90%. Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fibre particles as in ALL OTHER pads. Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.
This material is a Kevlar fibre based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, it brakes better and is quieter.
Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.
It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50% dust reduction.

These are good pads. Noticed some increase in stopping power.
One major con however is that these are not quiet by any means. Very noisy especially while breaking in. Would recommend the green stuff first before these. NTL still a great pad.

These pads work for my car, one thing that fascinates me is the fancy red color, must buy

First off I installed these pads myself so it was very much a straight forward install. No headaches or missing pieces. I cant remember the rear or front having this issue but one of them doesnt come with shims, no big deal, just use your stock ones.
So lets move on to their claims. They say its "almost dust free" but thats not true. I was hoping for something on the same level of dust as the OEM brake pads and Im satisfied. Just a little more dust than OEM; which you cant complain since these are aftermarket, higher performance pads. My "bed in" time took about 1000 miles to feel the entire braking ability. I also did the bed-in process after the bed-in time period. Before that though, they werent dangerously bad but just not as good as they are now; about on par with OEM pads. One thing I noticed is when new they dont brake as hard when they are cold. I had to apply the brakes about 4-5 times to get a very good grab. They definitely get better as they warm-up now and when they were new.
In closing these are great replacements for stock pads. Better initial grab, not even close to the amount of brake fade as stock has when hot, and the dust is low.
