K Series Parts Gives Back

Since March 2012 K Series parts has sponsored three Bengal tigers at the Serenity Springs Wildlife Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a monthly donation that we make to help provide food, shelter, and other care that they might need.

Serenity Springs Wildlife Center

Serenity Springs Wildlife Center is dedicated to providing a safe, stable and permanent environment for non-domestic felines and other wildlife. The animals have constant companionship, attention and the best care they can provide. It is licensed by state (Colorado Division of Wildlife) and federal agencies (USDA APHIS) which ensures they continue to maintain a high level of care. They hold the same licenses as every traditional zoo in the country.

They provide care and love to the lions, tigers, leopards, bobcats, cougars and other exotic animals that have been in a situation causing their lives or well-being to be jeopardized.

October 2013 - Pets for Vets

At Pets for Vets, we believe our country owes military veterans a debt of gratitude. Our soldiers have been brave but many of them have returned with physical and emotional injuries that have made it difficult to transition back to civilian life. Some estimates state that as many as 20% of returning military veterans suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

December 2013 - Reach Out Worldwide

Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) - consisting of skilled volunteers - is a non-profit registered 501(c)3 organization. While part of a relief team responding to the massive earthquakes that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010; Actor/Producer Paul Walker saw a gap between the availability of skilled resources and the requirement for such personnel in post-disaster situations. Following the trip he contacted a group of his friends to assist him in forming ROWW with the purpose of filling this unmet need.

ROWW is a network of committed professionals with first responder skill-set (including project management, logistics, heavy equipment operation, EMT, paramedic, firefighting, and healthcare, etc). The volunteers provide their expertise when disasters strike and augment local resources with the goal of accelerating relief efforts on a worldwide basis. ROWW has developed Standard Operating Procedures that facilitate arriving quickly, clearing access, providing basic necessities and medical assistance to ease the survivors' pain and bringing hope in the bleakest of circumstances.

ROWW operates on the philosophy that by making a difference in just one person's life, the world has been changed for the better.
