Countless hours of research and development went into the creation of this header. The change in the design of the factory exhaust system presented a new set of challenges for DC Sports engineers.
With the stock catalytic converter welded to the secondary, the R and D Department had to find a way to create power out of the primary only. Computer aided design and extensive dyno testing led to our successful collector design. The result of our labor is a header that works with the factory secondary to produce power throughout the RPM range.

Absolutely love this exhaust header! In combination with my magnaflow catalytic converter and my invidia N1 cat back exhaust!! My whole vehicle feels sooooo much lighter! I definitely notice a change in fuel economy (i also added a new denso primary O2 censor and NTK Secondary O2 censor) and power!!!!!!
Only thing note worthy is, this header does not come with hardware. DC sports explained to me they don

Install was simple but I did run into a few issues. I disliked how DC Sports does not include a donut gasket for the header. I had to wait a whole day to get a gasket shipped to my house since all of the stores in town (Acura dealer included) did not have the part in stock. Besides that, the overall product worked fine. My car feels lighter and I did notice an increase in strength throughout the whole power band. The performance gained feels balanced and that is what I was looking for. I am more than satisfied with the results. If you are considering adding this header to your vehicle I highly recommend purchasing a donut gasket. All in all, you will not be disappointed with the 4-2-1 header.

It is a very nice item...love the looks of it when you look into the car. you'll notice a small amount of gains but not much...one problem that did come up was the header screw holes that were supposed to bolt to the bracket were not threaded...planning to go to a shop to get that fixed...
